Colors and Mood Corolation...whats it All About?

Spring time is upon us and color is the word of the day. Is there a true link to changing your mood just by the color you wear? Seeing red, feeling blue, green with envy, I am sure you have heard these statements before.   Color and mood are definitley inextricably linked. Slip on a red dress to instantly feel chic and sexy,   pop open a sunny yellow umbrella on a gloomy day and some of that sunniness will undoubtedly rub off on you.

There are several reasons why colors are able to influence how we feel.  A few of the most recognized ones are social and  culture status, along with  personal relationships with particular colors.   For example, when you look at red, it tends to increase your heart rate. It is a stimulating color. if your grandmothers favorite color was blue, this color might stir up feelings associated with your unique bond with her. As we look forward to some of the hot trends in color this spring, keep in mind that the best trend is what works well for you. Might I suggest choosing colors that evoke confidence and style when making your wardrobe selections. Below is a color guide that may aid in your process, as well as a few links to a few of our top sellers in the closet!
